Next session: MondayShoreditch Town Hall Venue building *New group launching 7th July 2026* LGBTQIA+ Inclusive Group Meets fortnightly, 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month, 12-2pm Group facilitators: Joey and Charlotte What inspired you to start your group? We wanted to set up a group to cater specifically to queer families, because there is a gap in support What does the building look like? How will I know I’m in the right place? It is a large, white, municipal building with Shoreditch Town Hall written above the main door. There are three large trees outside. Is there parking or public transport nearby? There is a bus stop outside (55, 243) and it is an 8 minute walk from both Old Street station and Shoreditch Highstreet station. Hoxton station is a 9 minute walk away. Any doors, buzzers or steps/ramps I should know about? There is step free access via a ramp and steps up to the main entrance. All three entrances have step free access. I feel a bit nervous and still not sure if this is for me. Come along and try it out. We are super friendly and welcoming! Any other information? This is an inclusive space and everyone is welcome.
Everybody welcome Meets every Tuesday, from 3rd Feb, 9:30am – 11:30am Group Facilitator: Dani What does the building look like? Its a listed large White building next to the golf course and the only building on that side of the road. Is there parking nearby? Parking on the roads around Any doors, buzzers or buttons I need to be aware of? Steps and a ramp on the outside, double doors to enter the building What if I feel nervous? The centre is used for many parenting activities and is a friendly open space to attend. You are always more than welcome to get in touch before attending and we can always meet you on the outside to walk in together, so you feel less daunted by entering the building. The group facilitator will be wearing a PANDAS t-shirt, please do walk up and say hello.
Venue – All Saints Church First Wednesday of every month, 11am – 1pm Group facilitator: Rona What inspired you to start your group? To create somewhere relaxed and welcoming for mums and parents – that is not only all about the baby/child, but also -a place for adult conversation, and somewhere for your experience to be heard, whatever that feels or looks like for you. What does the building look like? How will I know I am in the right place? The main church building. There will be a sign outside that reads ‘the Hub Cafe. We are open’. The Pandas group will be one of the groups meeting in the hub cafe. Is there parking or public transport nearby? Yes. There is street parking. It is close to busroutes 275, And a few minutes walk from Highams Park Overground (weaver line). Any doors, buzzers, steps or ramps I should know about? It is accessible with a buggy. I feel a bit nervous and am still not sure if this is for me – This is a space open to anyone, and especially any mums dealing with feelings of anxiousness, anger, guilt, isolation, or even hopelessness. These are all common feelings but can feel hard to understand or share with others, especially in motherhood. You do not need to face these feelings alone, and having a safe space to talk with peers can be an important step to feeling more yourself.

Meets every first Monday of the month 10:30am – 12:00 noon Group Facilitator: Aisling Mindfulness The Venue Aisling What inspired you to start your group? – After some tricky pregnancies that were often brimming with worry, and a bumpy postnatal period with my middle child, I was inspired to support others who might be finding things tough during the perinatal period. What does the building look like, and how will I know I’m in the right place? – The building is easy to find, directly opposite the Sainsbury’s car park on Langham Road. Look for the “Pandas” sign on the small gate to the right-hand side of the building. The group is held in a small, cosy room that is easily accessed via a small ramp. Buggies can come straight into the room with you if necessary. We try to keep the door ajar unless it is very windy. You can just give a little knock if you don’t find it open, and I’ll come and greet you. Is there parking or public transport nearby ? – There is some free parking on the road, but spaces can be limited. There are bus stops close by on the High Street for 281, 285 or R68 buses. Teddington Rail Station is about a 10-minute walk away, down the High Street. Any doors, buttons, or steps I should know about? – No tricky steps or heavy doors to worry about when coming in to see us! Where can buggies be left? Are there toilets/changing facilities? – Buggies can come straight in with you. There are toilets and changing facilities just through the door next to our room. What’s the atmosphere like, and what should I do when they walk in? – It is a very calm, relaxed setting. You can come in, make yourself comfortable and take a seat or use the toilet/ changing facilities. I’ll make you a drink and offer you a snack. I always have some dairy and gluten-free options too! We normally have informal introductions within the group and hold space for anyone to share any particular worries or concerns. Some weeks I might have a little activity or worksheet for us to look but nothing is compulsory. Anything special about your group I should know about? – This is a group run by someone who really cares about other parents and parents-to-be who are finding things tough. You might be having a particularly difficult time, or a surprisingly good day, and want to share that with other people who understand. It is the effect of peer support that can make you feel like you are not alone during the harder days. The sharing of the good days offers hope to others in the group.
