Venue – All Saints Church First Wednesday of every month, 11am – 1pm Group facilitator: Rona What inspired you to start your group? To create somewhere relaxed and welcoming for mums and parents – that is not only all about the baby/child, but also -a place for adult conversation, and somewhere for your experience to be heard, whatever that feels or looks like for you. What does the building look like? How will I know I am in the right place? The main church building. There will be a sign outside that reads ‘the Hub Cafe. We are open’. The Pandas group will be one of the groups meeting in the hub cafe. Is there parking or public transport nearby? Yes. There is street parking. It is close to busroutes 275, And a few minutes walk from Highams Park Overground (weaver line). Any doors, buzzers, steps or ramps I should know about? It is accessible with a buggy. I feel a bit nervous and am still not sure if this is for me – This is a space open to anyone, and especially any mums dealing with feelings of anxiousness, anger, guilt, isolation, or even hopelessness. These are all common feelings but can feel hard to understand or share with others, especially in motherhood. You do not need to face these feelings alone, and having a safe space to talk with peers can be an important step to feeling more yourself.
