2. Submitting content
Our site allows organisations to submit listings, and may from time to time allow other users to submit reports, comments, or messages. When making use of these facilities, it is your responsibility to ensure that any submission is, as far as you are aware:
- factually correct;
- represents your honest opinion (where opinion is involved);
- does not breach any applicable law or regulation;
- does not breach any obligation of confidence owed to a third party.
Any submission must not include any material which:
- is defamatory, obscene, offensive, hateful or inflammatory;
- is or refers to material which is sexually explicit;
- promotes violence, illegal activity, or any form of discrimination;
- infringes any other person's copyright, database right, trade mark, or other intellectual property right;

- advocates, promotes or assists any illegal activity;

- invades another person's privacy or causes inconvenience or anxiety to any person;
- impersonates any person, or misrepresents your identity or affiliation with any person or organisation;
- gives the impression that the material emanates from us, if that is not the case;
- promotes or could encourage suicide, self-harm, or eating disorders;
- could be considered "priority illegal content" or "primary priority content that is harmful to children" within the meaning of the Online Safety Act 2023 and any codes of practice issued by Ofcom.
3. Additional rules for listed organisations
If you are an organisation submitting or maintaining a listing on our directory, you additionally agree:
- to keep your listing accurate and up to date;
- to honour the Group Listings Policy and (where applicable) the Group Composition Policy;
- to comply with our SUPPORT Listing Standards if your listing falls in the SUPPORT category, including the tiered verification cadence;
- not to use the platform to harvest data on individuals;
- not to use the platform to contact men for purposes other than providing the activity, support, or service described in your listing;
- to respond to reasonable verification requests from us;
- to remove or update your listing within 5 working days of becoming aware that it is materially inaccurate.
Repeated or serious breaches will result in removal from the directory and (where the breach involves a regulated profession or NHS partnership) notification to the relevant body.
4. Moderation
Our site is moderated. The following provisions apply:
- We provide a route to report inappropriate listings and content (flag icon on listings; report form on contact pages; email report@mensnetwork.global).
- Although we do our best to assess risks and review submissions, we are under no obligation to pre-moderate user content. We expressly exclude liability for any loss or damage caused by user content.
- We respond to reports of priority illegal content within timescales required by the Online Safety Act 2023 and Ofcom's codes of practice. Other reports are handled in good time, prioritised by severity.
- We may remove, hide, or restrict content at our discretion where, in our opinion, the content breaches this Policy.
Where we make a decision to remove content or restrict an account, we will tell the affected user the reason and how to appeal, unless prohibited by law or where notification would prejudice an investigation.
5. Reporting violations
To report a violation of this Policy:
- Use the flag function on any listing page;
- Email report@mensnetwork.global;
- For urgent safeguarding concerns: email safeguarding@mensnetwork.global (monitored during UK business hours);
- For immediate risk to life: call 999 in the UK or contact emergency services in your jurisdiction. We are a directory; we are not an emergency service.
6. Breaches of this policy
Any breach of this Acceptable Use Policy will be dealt with as a breach of our Terms of Use. We reserve the right to take any other action we reasonably deem appropriate, including:
- a warning;
- temporary suspension of your account or listing;
- permanent removal of your account or listing;
- denial of access to our site;
- disclosure of relevant information to law enforcement;
- legal action against you.
We are not liable for any loss or damage caused by any breach of this Acceptable Use Policy.
7. Amendments
Please check this page regularly, as we may revise this Acceptable Use Policy at any time. We may also change or update this Policy by means of notices published on our site. Material changes will be flagged on next visit.
