Haringey PANDAS

Meets on the first Friday of the month 10.00am – 12:00pm Group facilitators: Charlotte and Shathi Group Facilitator – Charlotte I’ve been volunteering with PANDAS for the past few years after struggling with my own mental health following the birth of my son. I also saw so many other parents around me quietly finding things difficult too. In Haringey, we’re so lucky to be surrounded by amazing parks, stay and plays, baby groups and activities for little ones, but I kept thinking: where can parents say “I’m not OK”? Where can we talk about ourselves, not just our babies? Where can we just be  us  for a little while? That’s why I was so excited to set up the Haringey PANDAS support group — a warm, welcoming space where local parents can come exactly as they are, speak honestly about what they’re going through, feel listened to and supported, and hopefully leave feeling a little lighter than when they arrived. We’re also so fortunate to be hosted by Woodlands Nursery and Children’s Centre, which is a lovely, child-friendly space where you’re welcome to bring your baby or child along, while also finding out more about the support and activities available locally.
